Several years ago, 19 burial plots located in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park were donated to the Hatfield American Legion Post #933.  We are offering the 15 remaining burial plots to any family who has lost a beloved veteran.  Although the family would still have to bear the costs of either a casket or a cremation service through a funeral director and the  "opening and closing" costs of the gravesite and the cost of a burial vault at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, the donation of one of these burial plots would save the family a significant expense.  A 24x12 basic bronze grave marker can also be furnished at no cost, by the US Government, for any qualified veteran of the US Armed Services.  If you would like to learn more about the availability of a burial plot, you may contact the Legion's Finance Officer,
